Nineteen years as a professional cook. Lucio studied in the prestigious Escuela de Hostelería Hofmann in Barcelona, Spain, where he received Gold Knife Honor Mention.
Nowadays, Lucio thrives as a professional of the range in Mediterranean cuisine with emphasis in Catalonian and Basque Region, including rice dishes, tapas, and sandwiches. Based on his multicultural background, Lucio has developed menus using diverse ingredients (sometimes undreamed-of) fusing Caribbean flavors with more traditional European ones.
A Florida resident since 2015, last year Lucio opened “Lucio Coffee To Wine Store” located in Miami Shores. A gourmet store where gastronomy, good wine, and art objects mix with Lucio’s generous knowledge to offer patrons his gastronomic recommendations and a personal selection of American and European wines.
